Every year our school has May Day at the end of the year and the 6th grade braids the May Pole and each class does a dance. We always have a theme for May Day and this year it was different decades of music. Bailees class had the 90's so their class did a line dance to "Achy Break Heart" By Billy Ray Cyrus. It was hysterical. They were supposed to dress in western clothes but Bailee and a couple of her friends wanted to be funny so they wore their western clothes with basketball shorts.

One change that was added to May Day this year was that the staff did a dance. Our Principle is a dancer and she thought it would be great for all the staff to dance too. I really wish I had pics of all the staff because we looked so funny. Each group was dressed different according to their song. At first I was DYING that we had to get out there and dance but in the end we made fools or ourselves but we had fun. The staff had the 80's and we were broke into groups that each did a dance alone and then we did a group dance. I was with Chelsea and Kris and we had the song " Mickey" Hey Mickey your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey...You all know it I am sure... Some other songs the other groups had were "My Sharona" "Vogue" "Copacabana" "Summer of 69" " Old Time Rock and Roll" then we all did a group dance together to "Walk this Way" and "Thriller"
It was a blast!
