A month in a nutshell

Well I have been a major slacker on my blog. Ever since my mom died life has just been strange. I have let many things go and it is time to get things back in order. The last two months have been filled with many things and here is jsut a highlight of a few that should have been blogged but were neglected.
The first being Thanksgiving. It was a very sad Thanksgiving this year and I dont really have any pics.
Second, Bailee was in the Nutcracker at Snow College again this year. It was even better than last year and my dad,Tracie,Carter and Clints family all came and watched it and then we all went out to dinner. It was a fun day but the absence of Grandma Kathy was always there. It will be there in everything we do from now on




Third, was the addition to the Robinson family... My little brother Cole and his wife Jaclyn had their baby boy on Dec. 20th. His name is Hunter Howard Robinson and he is the cutest thing ever. He is jsut tiny and perfect and we are all so excited to have him here. It seems like we have been waiting for him forever.


And last but not least was Christmas,
We had a fun weekend planned on the 18th and 19th to spend it as a family and go downtown and see the lights at Temple Square and have a fun night,well....
It did not quite go as planned. We went to dinner at the Olive Garden at 5:30, boarded Trax in Sandy after dinner and off we went. We had Jaclyns mom and sister here from out of state to be here when the baby was born and we were so excited for a fun time together. When we got downtown our train stopped and we just sat and vistited for the longest time wondering what was going on. Well to make a very long story short we were shuffled from train to bus to train to bus to train the end result being back in Sandy where we started it was 11:00 p.m. and we NEVER made it to Temple Square at all. We were on the train behind the train that ran over a guy and killed him so the tracks were shut down all night. But it was an adventure and it was still fun and we had a lot of time to visit. And while we waited I got Bailee and Clints pic with Sterling Poulson the weather man.

The next day we took a Christmas tree to my moms grave that the kids had decorated for her. That was on the 19th and the lights are still on and twinkling today. Who would have thought that they would have lasted that long.

2009 was filled with many life changing events for our family and it is time for a new year and new memories, Happy ones I hope!!!!!
