Another 4th of July come and gone

Well another 4th of July has come and gone and it was a good one. We had a lot of fun this year. It was packed with stuff to do. Bailee and Clint were in two parades. One in Moroni and another in Mt. Pleasant. We got together and had a BBQ after all the parades and waited for the fireworks that got rained out. Below are just a few of the many pics I took of the day.I might post more later... Clint drove a big howitzer gun through the Mt. Pleasant parade. He is the one down low on the drivers side and Brett Smith is in the upper hatch. This was the hit of the parade were I was sitting. The kids went crazy as it drove by. It was fun to see the little boys in awe of this big army gun.

After the parade they gave the kids a ride in the howitzer. They thought that was the coolest part of all.

Remember.... This July 4th...

With the 4th of July fast approaching I just wanted to post a quick reminder before the week gets too busy and I dont have time. As we are all celebrating and having a good time with family and friends this weekend, let us remember why we are celebrating and remember those people who got us where we are. There are many, many heros that have served our country since the beginning and without them where would we be now? They have given us our freedom and continue to do so. I happen to be married to one of these heros that has served in the military for 19 years with many more to come. He has been to Afghanistan and Iraq and will be deployed a third time next year. I am so glad there are still men and women that are willing to serve our country so we can enjoy our lives as we know it. It is a great sacrifice for them and their families. So just a little reminder to remember our soldiers past and present this 4th of July and quietly thank them for their sacrifices.
