Disneyland (part 2) Fun at the BEACH!!!!!

Thursday we decided to go to the beach. A first for our kids. They had never been to the beach before.We went to Huntington beach and it was a beautiful day. The girls could not wait to look for sea shells and build sand castles. It was definetly the highlight of the trip. It was a fun day. The surfers were fun to watch as were the very buff men that were running past us all day. ( Who would have thought that people really go running on the beach,it's not just on T.V.)

It was just beautiful. I could have sat there all day and just watched the waves and the girls having so much fun. It was one of my favorite days of the whole trip.

We ate at this cute little diner at the end of the pier that looked out over the ocean while we ate and watched the sunset. It was a fun, fun, night.

Disneyland (part 1)

My best friend Angela and I gave our kids a trip to Disneyland for Christmas. We planned it for the second week of January as it is much less crowded (nearly dead)at that time, but shhhh it is a secret. We left on Sat. Jan 9 and went as far as Las Vegas and then continued on to California Sunday morning. We arrived at our hotel about 11 a.m. and checked in and went straight to Disneyland. We went to Disneyland Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed and then the beach on Thursday.(that will be a later post)

It was sooooo fun and it was so nice to not stand in line. On Sunday we waited in line for 20 minutes at the longest and the other days maybe 5 minutes tops. Usually NO line at all. The kids just rode the rides over and over again.

It was so much fun to just have all of us girls on a mother daughter vacation for a week. It was a fun time spent with my good friend and our girls.
